Hello everybody, I've come to give you all this absurd reference guide for drawing Fresh. yep. I decided to spend hours slapping this together.

If I got anything wrong or should add anything PLEEEASE lemme know! All ideas welcome!

If you want to see my "research" on this character, let me know in the replies, because there's so much to talk about with him and I'd love to do a character analysis or two, I couldn't put much about his personality or source posts in this because it's just a drawing guide!

Glasses Off:

The host's soul shows up in their left eyesocket

- The soul tends to look unstable (cracks & a sortve stroboscopic effect.. i couldn't think of a better word.) but not in some cases...

It doesn't have to be a white upside-down heart, that's just a reference to an undertale monster soul.

He has a purple substance full of little RADs that emanate from his eyesockets (when his sunglasses are off)

"The soul in Fresh's eyes CAN be cracked. That soul isn't his. it belongs to his host. And.... after a while.... things go bad for the host, and he needs a new one." -CQ

The purple aura(?) can glow and emanate from the eyes when his glasses are on too

Fresh leaves a rainbow cloud of smoke when he "poofs". Either teleporting him and his host body somewhere or leaving his host behind.

Human Designs:

Fresh can possess humans too.

They all look physically different because they're different people that he's possessing.

Fresh can possess pretty much any body, but I thought I'd show the varied examples of humans anyway

Don't forget the orange jacket flaps! or his hat propeller!

I dunno what's up with the multicolor tongue thing. I think it was extra parasites in the host's mouth? I feel like it was scrapped at some point... but I could be wrong

FURBIES!:

The REAL Parasite:

Fresh is actually this little parasite controlling a host body. (if you didn't know that why are you reading this post rn!?! but nah I love new Fresh fans, welcome!)

The main parasite is this purple one with the eyemouth and four(?) tendrils, the other colored tentacles are prrrobably Fresh's offspring (freshmageddon moment?) (I'm not actually sure, I'm just pretty sure they're not part of the main parasite but are parasite tentacles)

Ladies and gentlemen, anime is a thing loved by many and to have an anime and you need to have characters, sadly some characters get disrespected and pushed to the way side making them useless or trash in some people's eyes, I'm here to highlight some characters I believe deserve something better, a power up or literally anything

This is my list of characters that are underrated in anime

First up:

Yeah duh give this man a power up, have him train more, do ANYTHING with him, I want people to stop clowning my boy, "well he got beat by a saibaman" - 🤓, in that moment he was caught off guard even piccolo said it was unavoidable so like wtf you want him to do, but yeah free my boy from underrated hell

Next up:

See sero is an interesting case cause to me he is one of the funniest and most entertaining characters, he literally is just spider man without Spidey sense and y'all did NOTHING with him, my hero ended so this man didn't really even get much, but I like him he's funny, cool, his friendship with Kiri, denki and Mina are awesome, he's wasted potential

This next one hurts me:

Iroha thinks that Ni-ki is born to be a performer and a one-of-a-kind idol. She was most surely looking up to him during her trainee days, watching his fancams and performances to assimilate/adopt some of his tricks for herself. Also, she thinks he's a bit (a bit MUCH) of a shyyy boy >.< Their first encounter for the Magnetic Tiktok Challenge was so cute; despite being both introverts, they quickly caught each other's vibe. Iroha was particularly enthusiastic about meeting him in person and somehow tried to keep it inside her so it wouldn't show too much. Deep inside, she would really like to get to know him better as a person and be friends, but she's afraid for some reason? :с Most likely, she is not yet very familiar with the industry and how connections are made, since some things in it do not imply friendship but only advancement that can bring mutual benefit. If someday they get the opportunity to do something together, it will be a great joy and experience for Iroha! Like a potential dance duet or something close to this? It would give her a chance to show off her skills next to one of the best dancers of the 4th generation, and thus people would be able to discern her uniqueness. She also likes his style, the way he's holding himself, and the fact that he doesn’t try to be something he’s not and show those emotions that he never correlated to just to impress someone, and that's not being blunt in her opinion. He's a just REAL one, duh. 🫥

“Please don’t.” His face is set in a neutrally mortified expression, tone even.

“And why not?”

“I mean this in the least offensive way possible but you have no license, no training. What if you hit a nerve? Or a blood vessel? I just think having a professional to do it for you is the best decision safety-wise.”

“I promise I’m not gonna go into cardiac arrest from self-piercing my upper lobes babe.”

You walk over to where he’s sitting on the bed and cup his face in your hands. You scratch lightly at the curls behind his ears, careful to avoid his fresh lobe piercings.

“I promise that I’ll be very very careful and to keep everything properly sanitized. Because I’d hate to disappoint you.” You say, placing a soft peck on the tip of his nose.

“You look really good with these by the way.” You use your pointer finger to trace his earlobe, the small stud shining brightly against the reddened skin. His eyes lock with yours and a small smile graces his lips.

“You think so? It was hard choosing the placement at the shop. I didn’t wanna choose anything too gaudy.”

“Nah they look really good Izuku. Like, really good. They suit your face so well. I’m jealous.” In reality, you couldn’t help staring at him after he got his ears done. It matched up too well with his current look.

His wild afro-esk hair, the thin gold serpentine chain peeking from under his t-shirt and the black Wrangler cargos he sported made your head spin. Not to mention his freckle-kissed skin.

Izuku was already a fairly attractive man, but now? It’s like someone sprinkled diamonds on a bar of gold. The shiny new studs in his ears just made him impossibly more attractive and it was dizzying. Sitting here and staring at him, you wonder why you’d even fought him on cleaning your piercings again in the first place. Should’ve answered ‘yes’ from the get-go.

“Hun?” You’re brought back to reality at the sound of his voice. You take your hands off his face and run a single hand through his hair.

“Yeah?”

“You were staring at me for a bit. Are you okay?”

“Yeah, sorry. It’s hard not to honestly.”

“You’re flattering me.” A lopsided smile finds its home on his lips as he shakes his head.

“I’m so serious. Sometimes I’ll feel the need to just take in your features. It’s insane.” His eyes find yours in a mix of embarrassment and gratitude.

“My fault. Too much?”

“No, no! You’re fine, honest. I’m just not the best at taking compliments still but thank you, really.” The sudden need to reassure him ticks at your brain.

Such a good episode! Not plot-heavy, just a silly episode. I'll gladly take it as my late birthday present. And it's great to have Swag back, kinda was half-expecting Chris to just pop out.

I've said this once and I'll say it again: I wouldn't mind if the rest of the year is just filled with goofy episodes. After all, we just came from WOTFI and we do need a bit of a break so the Team could work on the next arc. (From the looks of things, we might get goop!4 *cough cough*)

Loved the bits of animation and Mario's expressions as always.

Now, I know there is some talk about the SMG4 Crew/Mario Does Things being on hiatus and merging with the Saturday videos. If you can even call it that. Personally, I don't mind it. I completely understand if doing 2 episodes per week is a lot for the Team to handle, though I do wish they would give an explanation for it. I think the best solution would be for the Team making an announcement of the change, the reasons behind it, and how it may be different from the regular Saturday episodes. Also make it clear that "hey, the title says this so it doesn't impact the main storyline".

Anyway, it has been overall a pretty funny episode and I quite enjoyed it! Now, if you excuse me, I'm gonna cry my eyes out watching the rest of Arcane Act 3 and bring that angst to the next episode concept :)

You spit the wine out, choking.

" Sorry, correction, he is a respectable, gentlemanly manwhore."

"That is not any better you know." You wheezed as you still trying to expel the wine you accidently inhaled.

Your new flatmate, affectionately known as " Mini " MacTavish, due to her status being the baby of the family, casually mentioned as you two enjoying first dinner aka welcome party.

Mini is the new nurse that recently moved down from Scotland, working in the emergency apartment. You two got on like a house on fire, so when you offered her the spare room after your old flatmate moved out and Mini was searching for a new place to live, she immediately said yes.

You came home from your night shift the morning of the move, you saw a very muscular man with mohawk moving things from the 4wd drive into your flat. The man see you approaching, he put the box down on the floor and offers his hand out for a shake,

"Hello, you must be the Doc! Mini told me all about you, I am her brother Johnny, just call me Soap." He flashes you with a boyish smile. Soap? What kind of nickname is that?

You can see the resemblance between the siblings, both have quite talkative and bubbly personality.

Mini called out to you from the front door, " Oh hey! you are home. I see you met my brother."

... Very good looking brother, you secretly thought. Your eyes wonders towards his arm, Jesus, you though. Is that sleeve gonna burst anytime with that insanely muscular bicep?

" Alright, that's the last box. I am gonna go."

" You not staying?" You heard Mini asked, pulling you back from your wondering mind.

" Nah, got meeting at the base tomorrow, better start driving back now. I'll see you next time when I am down this way." Turning towards you and gave you a wink, " Nice to meet you bonnie, see you next time."

" Thanks Johnny. you are the best." Mini gave her brother a kiss and a hug and with a wave, he was off.

Two of you decided to order some takeaway and wine to celebrate first day of move. The topic soon turned to Johnny.

" Look, he is the best big brother you can ask for, but the amount of time I have to listen to him boasting about the ladies he met and his conquest.. " Rolling her eyes, " You know what is ironic? he is so particular with any of the guys that I have dated and approaches me, now no one want to date me!"

" He knows what men are like, he is just looking out for his sister."

" Well, I am not a young teenage girl anymore you know. I can make my own decision and suffer the consequences." Mini took a swag of wine.

Next time you met him was coming home from work middle of night, you stepped on his head.

You totally forgot Mini had told you few days ago that Soap was staying over at the flat for a night while visiting. There's no guest bedroom in the flat, but you do have a roll out futon and duvet set that you kept in the storage for any family and guest coming over.

You screamed as you kicked a round hard thing when you enter the front door and you heard a deep groaning sound. You flick the floor lamp beside the front door.

" OH MY GOSH I AM SO SORRY JOHNNY." you were mortified.

" You really kick well bonnie, you don't happen to be on the football team are you?" He joked as he rub his head and sat up. Oh that deep husky voice, and the accent. " It's my fault really. my team mates says I am a bad sleeper.. " he apologises sheepishly.

The living room of your flat is small, but not that small.... how did he even manage to migrate from where his mattress is towards the door? It's a mystery indeed.

Only than you notice he slept with his lounge pants on but the top half? naked. His well toned abs and chest all on display. Your mouth went dry.

' I.. um, I am going to ahem, going shower and bed. Sorry again." You hurryingly dash towards your bedroom. Gosh, your face is burning like a furnace. You heard him chuckled and stepping back onto the futon.

Hell, why do you feel like a teenage girl? He's your friend's brother for fucks sake!

You were worried. Mini had head to Credenhill, as last ditch effort to contact the boys about her pregnancy.

You cursed yourself. Shouldn't have let her gone all by herself, hell she was pretty close to her due date.

Pacing back and forth around the flat, you clean up the house, trying to distract yourself from the worry.

It's not until late at night when you were sitting in front of the tv you heard the car stopping outside. Few minute later, very exhausted Mini and Johnny carrying a duffle bag came into the house.

“Oh, Hi Johnny.” You were half shocked, but knowing how Johnny is towards his sister, he will always be there for her.

" hey.' He greeted you quietly, and proceed to excuse himself to use the bathroom.

You sat with Mini for a while, comforting her. Things didn't go as well as planned. Your friend was heart broken.

Secretly cursing this guy who you never met before, you decided you going to help your friend through this no matter what.

Another surprise came few days later, while you and Mini searching for new place to move into, your friend was grateful you decided to stick with her through the hard time.

" Bah, can't let you do this all on your own. Forget about that dickhead." you comfort her while packing up boxes, ready for the move.

Mini smiled a little through her tears.

"You don't mind my brother staying with us for a little while do you?"

" OH.. Nonono. He is welcome to stay as long as he want." You can feel your face burning up again.

Soap came through the front door a bit later in that day, urging you two to get into the car.

He stopped in front of a large two level cottage with a nice looking garden. Very expensive looking family home.

" Why we here Johnny?"

" To look at the houses."

You whistled in awe as you walk through the front door.

“Well, this is certainly a nice place, how many bedrooms?”

“ Five.”

“ Bit excessive isn’t it?? We only need maximum of three, plus how are we going to afford the rent payment? Must cost a bit with the size of it.”

" I bought it. You two going to move into this house."

.. What?

Mini cried and cried in his brother's arm.

Your view has totally changed after that. He insisted you two don't need to pay any rent, even if you press on , saying you couldn't just freeload off him. At the end he relented and you two just pay the utility bills. Nothing more.

“ Think of it as being caretakers of my house.” he winked at you, and dropped into more serious tone, looking into your eyes with sincerity.“ Also as thank you for taking care of my sister. You been a loyal friend to her.” you nodded your head, touched by his gesture.

You two were busily setting up the nursery when Mini fainted.

You called for ambulance straight away. Luckily Mini had left you contact details of her parents. You called them with shaky hand, letting them know the news.

They turned up that evening at the hospital, rushing all the way from Scotland. Also to your surprise, Soap turned up two days later.

He burst out crying seeing his beloved baby sister in ICU , in a coma. You can really feel the love between the family.

You tried to comfort him the best as you can, all of sudden he latched onto you and cried onto your shoulder.

You stiffen up a bit. Totally did not expect someone like him will display what consider to be weakness by military standard. You awkwardly warp your arm around him, giving a tight squeeze.

Smells of gunpowder, mix with bit of earthy scent.. you inhaled deeply. Two of you stood there for a bit, in embrace.

" I am sorry boonie.."

" It's alright. I am glad you are here, we aren't sure if she was going to pull through.. but things are looking up from all the readings we getting."

" Thank you so much.."

" Would you like to see your new nephew and nieces?" you offered.

He smiled and nodded.

“Aye ye two! remember protection this time round!!! Guest bedroom downstairs is free!! " You saw Soap yelling out the window down towards Mini and Simon.

Mortified, you pull him back into the and yelled back to them “ Sorry! please continue!”

" What the hell Johnny!!! Let those two lovebirds be!"

" Can't let him off so easily after all the hurt he has done onto my sister." He chuckled.

" Mini was right.. you are such a cockblocker.." You sighed.

He laughed. He leaned back against you. That's when you remembered you two are still sitting on the floor, him fallen onto you after you pulled him back from the window.

Neither of you wanted to move. Being brave, you dropped your forehead onto his shoulder. He leaned his head against yours.

Both of you stayed like that until the noise of baby crying.

" Back to babysitting duty." He got up reluctantly. Offering you a hand, he pulled you up.

Your eyes full of tears, watching your friend and her husband sharing first dance.

You feel a tap on the shoulder. Looking up, it was Soap, extending his hand with a gentle smile.

" Dance with me?" You grab his hand, with him leading you towards the dance floor.

He look absolutely dapper with his Prince Charlie kilt outfit. He certainly scrubbed up well.

The music turned into a slow dance. He pulled you in closer to him. Burying your head into the crook of his neck, he whispered.

" Can I take you out on a date sometime?"

" What took you so long to ask?" You teased.

" Ah. Um.. I don't want to be seen as an ass.." he stammered.

" Just kidding Johnny. I know your reputation." you turned your head little bit, looking up at him seriously.

" You know I am not interested in flings right? I am too old for that."

" You are younger than me."

" You know what I mean."

He hummed. Letting out a sigh. " I know.. I am serious about this. Please? Let me take you out once and you can judge me all you like after that."

" ... You better ask Mini about the baby sitting schedule when they are away for honeymoon."

" Don't worry there are plenty of people we can rope in for that. My parents.. my team..."

You jokingly smack his chest.

"So is that a yes?"

" yes Johnny." He let out a shaky breath and kissed the your hair gently.

" Good. ... And thank you."

You turned your head towards your friend, Mini was giving you a wave and a thumbs up.

You have a feeling you two will be turning from best friend into sister in law sometime soon.

"So this is my new friend,I am going to move into her flat in few weeks time."

" Does your friend happen to be single?"

" Don't Johnny, I know what you are thinking. You are going to ruin our friendship."

" Just asking. She is pretty though."

" John Campbell MacTavish...."

" Alright alright.."

Soap is probably my next favourite character after Ghost and König, I love his kids like eyes during the oil rig explosion scene... This boy deserves more fluff fics!

and who can resist a sexy Scottish man like Soap/Neil Ellice?
